The Portland Trail Blazers have replaced Trevor Ariza with a little-known point guard as the team prepares for a last-ditch run at the playoffs in Orlando.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Blazers secured the services of Jaylen Adams who has spent the 2019-20 season with the Wisconsin Herd where he was the G League’s runner up MVP.
He had previously signed a 10-day contract with the Milwaukee Bucks but was cut during the 2019-20 training camp.
Adams spent the previous season with the Atlanta Hawks after going undrafted out of St Bonaventure in 2018.
