New Boston Celtics Head Coach Ime Udoka is reportedly adding a former teammate and fellow Portland native to his staff. According to Bleacher Report’s Jake Fischer, Aaron Miles, the 2000 Oregon 4A Player of the Year, will join Udoka on the Celtics’ bench after three seasons with the Golden State Warriors’ organization.
Boston is expected to add Golden State player development assistant Aaron Miles to Ime Udoka’s new Celtics coaching staff, according to league sources. Miles was the head coach of the Santa Cruz Warriors from 2017-19.

Miles starred at Portland’s Jefferson High School shortly after Udoka, leading the Democrats to am 28-0 record as a junior in 2000, in addition to taking home POY honors.
