The Pelicans announced today that CJ McCollum and Herb Jones have been shut down for a few weeks due to injuries. McCollum, the former Trail Blazer, will miss 2-3 weeks with a right adductor strain after aggravating his hip in a game against Golden State. Jones is out 2-4 weeks with a right shoulder strain and rotator cuff tear, likely when a Warriors player landed on his arm.
They join Dejounte Murray, who broke his hand on Pelicans’ opening night. New Orleans has struggled since, including a lopsided loss in one of their two recent back-to-back games against the Blazers.
