The Indiana Pacers have relieved Nate McMillan of his head-coaching duties, the team announced Wednesday. McMillan earned 183 wins over four season with Indiana, but only went 3-16 in the playoffs during his tenure. The team and McMillan had announced a one-year extension to the head coach’s contract only two weeks ago.
According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Indiana would have interest in Houston Rockets head coach Mike D’Antoni if he becomes available:
