Hit the snooze buttons on those “Lillard Time” clocks for just at least a couple of weeks. It was supposed to be time, like it historically has been, for the Portland Trail Blazers to begin their spirited push towards April, and a seventh consecutive Playoff appearance. But as we’ve become well aware of, the 2019-20 season has been temporarily delayed, forcing us, for better-or-worse, to evaluate what have seen to this point.
Enduring injuries and roster turnover is nothing new for the Blazers as an organization. But this season, the battle against lady luck was even less forgiving.
