The Portland Trail Blazers weren’t perfect, but rode strong performances from Jusuf Nurkic and Damian Lillard to pull away from the Indiana Pacers late 100-86 Thursday night at the Moda Center.
Portland didn’t look world-beating by any stretch, and allowed a very mediocre Pacer team to hang around and even hold a lead late in the second half before flipping a switch in the fourth quarter and running away with it.
- I wanna go fast! Indiana clearly wanted a shootout and the Blazers opted to oblige, getting off 94 shots to the Pacers’ 91.
