The NBA has announced that they will require teams to utilize KN95 and KF94 masks starting next week. ESPN’s Tim Bontemps provided the details on the league’s new expectations in regards to masks.
As the NBA continues to tighten its health and safety protocols to combat the COVID-19 pandemic, the league will begin requiring players to wear KN95 or KF94 masks in all instances where required, sources told ESPN.
According to the report from Bontemps, the new protocol will get underway after the NBA distributes supplies to each team over the next several days.
