Regardless of the less-than-encouraging coronavirus numbers from Orlando, the NBA is forging ahead with its plan to resume the season later this summer. On Saturday, The Athletic’s Shams Charania revealed that the NBA’s transaction window will open on June 23.
The upcoming transaction window allows teams to supplement their roster with free agents, convert two-way contract players and sort out 10-day contracts that were on the books prior to the NBA’s hiatus.
Charania went on to explain that short-term replacement players with at least two years of NBA experience will carry a modest price tag for the remainder of the year.
