It’s been a busy weekend in the sports world, particularly in the Great Pacific Northwest.
The return of college football saw the Ducks and Beavers in action (please win by more next time, Oregon), the Portland Timbers beat the Seattle Sounders 1-0 at Providence Park Saturday night, and the Rose Garden Report’s Sean Highkin reported the WNBA will install a franchise in Portland, with play starting in 2026.
With all that going on, it’d be understandable if you missed some minor news from around the NBA that happened over the weekend. This post will get you up to speed.
