NBA COVID Testing Reveals No New Cases Since Dec. 24th

NBA players have been free of new COVID-19 cases since Christmas Eve per the latest test results, according to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports. Health concerns loom large outside of a bubble environment such as the NBA played in last summer, but so far it looks like the league’s COVID protocols are working.

NBA says of the 495 players tested for COVID-19 since Dec. 24, zero new players have returned confirmed positive tests.

The NBA had a successful playoff run in the bubble with no positive COVID tests from July 7, 2020 when teams first entered the bubble, to October 11, 2020 when the Los Angeles Lakers won the championship.
