The NBA filed to dismiss the Warner Bros/Discovery lawsuit over the league’s upcoming deal with new broadcast networks. The lawyers for the NBA did not mince words, stating that Warner/Discovery attempted to match an existing offer, but with changes.
The NBA specifically argued that Warner Bros. Discovery — the parent company of Turner — attempted to improperly rewrite the terms of Amazon’s offer and then accept those terms.
