The NBA and NBPA (National Basketball Players Association) have agreed to date for the start of the 2021 free agency period. According to a press release from the NBA, teams can begin negotiating with free agents on Aug. 2 at 3:00 p.m. PT. The moratorium between negotiations and official signings is scheduled to end on Aug. 6.
