The 2020 NBA Playoffs will resume on Saturday, August 29th after a two-day stoppage as NBA players negotiated among themselves and with the league for more awareness of social justice issues. The resumption was announced in a joint statement by NBA Commissioner Adam Silver and NBPA Executive Director Michele Roberts.
Among the provisions of the agreement are the league establishing a social justice coalition, converting team-owned arenas into voting sites for the 2020 general election, and advertising for election participation during playoffs games.
