Portland Trail Blazers forward Maurice Harkless is listed as out for Wednesday’s game against the Chicago Bulls due to left knee soreness, according to the team. Harkless left without speaking to reporters following Monday’s game against the Knicks.
The left knee is the same knee that Harkless had surgery on in March of last year. Furthermore, that same knee caused the forward to miss 12 games at the beginning of the season (he has missed a total of 15 games this year).
Teammate CJ McCollum can relate to Harkless’ situation, he told Joe Freeman of The Oregonian:
“I’ve been hurt in the past, so I know what it’s like to go through injuries,” CJ McCollum said.
