More than 200 fans that made the trek from Robinson, Illinois to Bankers Life Fieldhouse in downtown Indianapolis got exactly what they hoped for on Sunday afternoon.
With the Indiana Pacers threatening a comeback late in the third quarter, Meyers Leonard drilled a buzzer beating three-pointer. His basket pushed the Trail Blazers' lead back to double digits, but Robinson's native son was just getting started.
He opened the fourth quarter with another three-pointer, then added a running bank shot after he was chased off the perimeter. Leonard capped his run with a three-pointer on the next Blazers possession, putting Portland up 16 and prompting an Indiana timeout.
