MEMPHIS -- The Portland Trail Blazers and Memphis Grizzlies open their best-of-seven Western Conference playoff series Sunday night at 5 p.m. at FedExForum.
The game will feature a contrast of styles, as the free-flowing, high-scoring offense of the Blazers will tango with the methodical, "Grit and Grind" defensive-minded focus of the Grizzlies. Both teams are littered with injuries, but entering Game 1, Memphis seems to be in better shape.
For the Blazers, Arron Afflalo -- who is filling in for the injured Wesley Matthews -- is doubtful with a strained right shoulder. That will thrust Allen Crabbe or CJ McCollum into a starting role for Game 1.
