The Dallas Mavericks couldn’t grab a win in either of the first two games of the 2024 NBA Finals against the Boston Celtics, and now they face an 2-0 deficit going into Game 3 as the series shifts to the American Airlines Center.
If they were to win the series, they would join an elite club of six teams to win the NBA Finals after dropping the first two games.
The first team to accomplish the feat was the Celtics in 1969, who beat the Lakers for 11th NBA championship.
