The Portland Trail Blazers announced today that Matisse Thybulle will miss 3-6 more weeks after suffering a setback during injury recovery. Here is their official release:
Trail Blazers [guard/forward] Matisse Thybulle suffered a right ankle sprain while ramping up in an effort to return to the court. Thybulle underwent an MRI to confirm a grade 2 sprain of the right ankle. He is expected to miss three to six weeks.
This was the second Blazers player to be diagnosed with a grade 2 sprain today, with rookie Donovan Clingan suffering one in the MCL in his knee.
