Ahead of the last game of the regular NBA season, Portland Trail Blazers’ point guard Damian Lillard reflected on the coronavirus pandemic impacted 2020-21 season. According to Jamie Hudson of NBC Sports Northwest, it started out unlike any other from the beginning by Lillard’s account.
“It has been different,” Lillard said following Saturday’s practice. “I think, first of all, we coming off a short offseason. We finished the year in the bubble and it felt like we turned right around and was playing again.”
The truncated season had some interesting impacts.
