The NBA Playoffs are in full swing, but that has not stopped the offseason rumor mill from churning. According to Sports Illustrated’s Chris Mannix, the Celtics would consider trading 24-year-old All-Star wing Jaylen Brown for two highly-coveted players. Unsurprisingly, those two players are Wizards wing Bradley Beal and Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard.
During an appearance on NBC Sports Boston, Mannix detailed his knowledge of the Celtics’ situation. First, he explained that Jayson Tatum’s established relationship with Beal could drive Boston’s interest.
“There are a couple of players out there that I think the Celtics would move for Jaylen Brown,” Mannix said Thursday on Early Edition.
