The Los Angeles Lakers have agreed to trade guard D’Angelo Russell, forward Maxwell Lewis and three future second-round picks to the Brooklyn Nets for forward Dorian Finney-Smith and guard Shake Milton, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.
The Lakers are sending their own second-round picks in 2027, 2030 and 2031 to Brooklyn, Charania reported.
Russell, 28, has averaged 12.4 points and 4.7 assists while shooting 33.3% on 3s in 29 appearances for the Lakers this season, his 10th year in the NBA. Russell joined LA at the midway point of the 2022-23 season by way of a trade from the Minnesota Timberwolves.
