Lakers Outlast Blazers in Close Game

The Portland Trail Blazers returned to action Thursday night after having over a week off due to NBA All-Star weekend. The Lakers came into town fresh off an embarrassing home loss to the Charlotte Hornets. They had to play without Luka Doncic, but they have two superstars on the team. Lebron James decided to play tonight. He would finish with a game-high 40 points on 14-24 shooting, 8-8 from the free-throw line.

The Blazers did their best impression of the Walking Dead in the first quarter. After settling in, Portland began to finally connect on the long ball and forced turnovers.
