The Portland Trail Blazers’ roster for NBA Summer League continues to grow, with former Gonzaga forward Kyle Wiltjer tweeting Monday that he’d be joining his “hometown squad” for the tournament in Las Vegas. Wiltjer was a 5-star recruit coming out of Jesuit High School and played on the same Kentucky team as Anthony Davis and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist before transferring to Gonzaga.
Wiltjer played in 14 games for the Houston Rockets during the 2016-17 season. This past season he played for Greek club Olympiacos.
