Former Jesuit High School and Gonzaga star forward Kyle Wiltjer did not hear his name called during Thursday's NBA draft, but he will get a shot to earn an NBA roster spot.
According to a report from KREM in Spokane, Wiltjer signed a contract as an undrafted free agent with the Houston Rockets Thursday night. Wiltjer told KREM he signed a three-year deal with the Rockets, with half of his first-year guaranteed.
The 6-foot-10, 240-pound Wiltjer, a solid shooter from the perimeter, averaged 20.4 points and 6.3 rebounds as a senior at Gonzaga last season.
