Injury issues continue to pile up for the New York Knicks, leveling their NBA playoff chances. The final blow came today in the Knicks’ final game of the 2023-24 season: a lopsided 130-109 loss in Game 7 of their second-round series against the Indiana Pacers.
Knicks All-Star Jalen Brunson exited the game at the 4:06 mark of the third quarter with a fractured left hand, according to reports from The Athletic’s Shams Charania and several other NBA reporters.
At the time Brunson left the game, New York trailed 88-74. Without their primary leader and offensive engine, the Knicks’ uphill battle in the fourth quarter proved far too difficult.
