The Knicks and Pistons are closing in on a trade that would send veteran point guard Derrick Rose to New York. According to The Athletic’s Shams Charania, the two sides are close to completing a deal that would send Rose to the Knicks and Dennis Smith Jr. to the Pistons.

Rose, who played under coach Tom Thibodeau in both Chicago and Minnesota, would re-unite with his former coach in New York once the deal is complete.
