Kevin Love silences critics by winning 2016 NBA title

Kevin Love has heard the criticism. He's too soft. He's doesn't play good defense. He doesn't hit big shots.

The former Lake Oswego High star silenced his critics on one critical play late in the fourth quarter of Sunday's Game 7 of the 2016 NBA Finals between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors. It was Love's defense that stood out and helped the Cavaliers win the NBA title.

Love was defending Golden State guard Stephen Curry with the Cavaliers leading by three with about 40 seconds remaining in the game.
