Jimmy Butler Being Traded to Warriors

The Miami Heat are finalizing a trade to send guard Jimmy Butler to the Golden State Warriors for Andrew Wiggins, PJ Tucker, Kyle Anderson, and a top-10 protected first-round pick, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.

The Utah Jazz and Detroit Pistons are also involved as facilitators, with Dennis Schroder going from the Warriors to the Jazz, Lindy Waters III going from the Warriors to the Pistons, and Josh Richardson heading from the Heat to the Pistons.

While Butler is owed $48.7M this season and had a $54.2M player option for next year, the latter has reportedly been declined as part of the deal according to ESPN:
