Last year’s NBA Rookie of the Year Ja Morant exited the Grizzlies’ matchup against the Nets on Tuesday with an ankle injury. Following his exit, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski revealed that that the early examination of Morant’s left ankle did not show a fracture.

Morant is scheduled to receive an MRI early in the week. Until his return, 24-year-old reserve guard Tyus Jones will receive an uptick in minutes in the Grizzlies’ rotation.
