That much-talked about dream from Media Day is in jeopardy after just a week, still days before Portland’s first preseason game even tips off. Call it a curse. Call it bad luck. But you have to call it the truth: The Blazers are already dealing with injuries.

On Friday, Portland revealed oft-injured backup center Robert Williams III suffered a left hamstring strain that’ll keep him out at least two weeks. Then Saturday, the team announced key building block Shaedon Sharpe suffered a small posterior labral tear in his left shoulder and he’s expected to miss 4-6 weeks.
