In case you were wondering how the Portland Trail Blazers were celebrating Thanksgiving right in the middle of a grueling road trip, Peter Socotch and Jamie Hudson from NBCSports Northwest have you covered. In a holiday slideshow, they chronicle the team festivities, including a generous invitation from Oakland native Damian Lillard.
“I invited everybody because we going to be in my hometown and my family do like a big Thanksgiving thing every year whether I’m there or not. I invited everybody to come to the neighborhood if they want,” Lillard told reporters.
