This summer, the Trail Blazers made a series of minor moves in an attempt to tweak their roster for the 2021-22 regular season. Portland’s relatively quiet offseason followed several weeks of growing speculation tied to Damian Lillard’s desire for the Blazers to rise to the level of a true title contender.
This week, The Athletic’s John Hollinger pointed to the Blazers’ lack of urgency as a cause for concern.
