Greg Oden knows his place in NBA history and it's not a good place to be.
"I'll be remembered as the biggest bust in NBA history," Oden told ESPN's Outside the Lines. "But I can't do nothing about that."
Oden, 28, said he is done playing professional basketball and is attending Ohio State to earn his degree while being a basketball assistant.
"Don't get me wrong," Oden said. "If I was healthy, I would love to continue playing, but I'm not healthy."
The Portland Trail Blazers center used the top overall pick of the 2007 NBA draft to select the 7-foot Oden out of Ohio State.
