Portland Trail Blazers center Robert Williams III didn’t play in the second half versus the Memphis Grizzlies Monday night because he is being evaluated for a concussion, the organization announced on social media.
Additionally, the Blazers said forward Jerami Grant exited the game at the 9:58 mark of the third quarter and didn’t return due to a left knee issue.
Williams dove hard for a loose ball and was whistled for a foul on Memphis guard Scotty Pippen Jr. at the 6:22 mark of the second quarter. He hit his head on the floor during the play and took some extra time getting up, but remained in the game until the 5:51 mark of the quarter.
