The Golden State Warriors and the NBA are mourning the passing of Warriors Assistant Coach Dejan Milojevic today. Milojevic experienced a cardiac incident during a team dinner as Golden State last night as his team prepared to face the Utah Jazz. He was taken to the hospital, but later passed. He was 46 years old.
The Warriors released a statement in tribute to Milojevic this afternoon. It said, in part:
Golden State Warriors assistant coach Dejan Milojevic was hospitalized last night in Salt Lake City, Utah after suffering a heart attack at a private team dinner.
