A video shows San Francisco Giants team president and CEO Larry Baer knocking his wife to the ground during a fight over a cellphone Friday, with Baer telling the San Francisco Chronicle that the incident stemmed from "an unfortunate public argument."
In the video, published on TMZ Sports, Baer's wife, Pam, screams "Oh my god! No!" while being knocked to the ground as her husband attempts to take the cellphone from her. The video also shows Larry Baer holding that cellphone while walking away.
"My wife and I had an unfortunate public argument related to a family member and she had an injured foot and she fell off her chair in the course of the argument," Baer told the Chronicle.
