The Portland Trail Blazers will likely enter the upcoming season with 6-foot-9 Deni Avdija starting at small forward.
Outside of the 2024 NBA Draft, Portland’s trade to acquire the 23-year-old from the Washington Wizards was the organization’s big move of the summer. Blazers General Manager Joe Cronin gave up Malcolm Brogdon and some sizable draft capital to get him. But coming off a breakout year, Avdija is projected to give Portland the most talent its had at the small forward spot in years, with potential to improve.
If you don’t know much about one of the newest Blazers, the organization released an interview with Avdija this weekend to help you out.
