As we await the dawn of NBA Free Agency for the Portland Trail Blazers, a little news from yesterday about one of their former players, Allen Crabbe. According to TMZ, the three-point-shooting gave one heck of an assist to Frederick K.C. Price III Christian School in south Los Angeles, where he spent his elementary and high school years. The school was preparing to close its doors when Crabbe came through with “a substantial 6-figure check”.
“I was at that school practically my whole life,” Allen says. “I’m just happy and feel blessed to be in a position now to do this.
