Former Portland Trail Blazers guard Gary Trent, Jr. is joining former Blazers guard Damian Lillard, signing a one-year, veteran-minimum contract with the Milwaukee Bucks. Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reported the news yesterday.
Trent, Jr. played for the Blazers between 2018 and 2021. Portland traded him, along with guard Rodney Hood, to the Toronto Raptors in 2021 for guard Norman Powell. Trent has played for the Raptors since, becoming a free agent this summer. He averaged 13.7 points on 42.6% shooting for Toronto last season, hitting 39.3% of his three-point attempts.
