The Portland Trail Blazers will be without backup center Enes Kanter on Friday against the Toronto Raptors. Kanter is fully healthy but will miss the game due to “immigration issues”.
Casey Holdahl of the Trail Blazers official site broke the news on Wednesday via Twitter:
Enes Kanter (immigration issues) will NOT travel to Canada for Friday’s game vs. Raptors in Toronto.

Kanter has been an outspoken critic of Turkey’s president Tayyip Erdogan. As a result, the former citizen of Turkey had his passport canceled in May of 2017.
