Enes Kanter felt pressured to make a decision regarding re-signing with the Portland Trail Blazers, reports Marc J. Spears of ESPN. Spears included a text from Kanter as part of a Tweet. In it, Kanter says he only had six minutes to make a decision, and given that he cannot contact his family in Turkey to assist him in the process, he ultimately told the Blazers no.
