In the final minutes of the fourth quarter in Thursday's game versus the New York Knicks, the Portland Trail Blazers had admittedly taken their foot off the gas a bit. Playing at home, Portland had seen its 23-point lead dwindle to 10, but then Damian Lillard got angry.
Lillard caught a forearm to the face while defending a driving Chasson Randle, turning the usually calm and collected point guard into a machine. Over the next 87 seconds, the visibly peeved Lillard went 3-of-3 from the field, scoring seven of his game-high 30 points to extend the Blazers advantage to 20 and well out of the Knicks' reach before Lillard exited the game with just under two minutes remaining.
