The Trail Blazers played the Clippers on Tuesday in what was a good contest through halftime. Where the game was lost for Portland was in the third quarter when all ball movement vanished. Los Angeles found a rhythm on offense and Portland couldn’t respond. The Trail Blazers we’re attempting to match the explosion of the Clippers by taking shots where there wasn’t a single pass.
There were a few strings of possessions when whoever got the outlet pass from Whiteside was shooting. No pass and no movement, just everyone watching one guy create for himself. That’ll never work.
