Deni Avdija, The Blazers’ New Swiss Army Knife: ‘I Can Get Everybody Going’

The Portland Trail Blazers want to improve in several categories this season. Through Media Day and the first two days of training camp, players and coaches have compiled a list of ailments that need fixing. That list can get pretty long after a 21-61 finish last season.

They want to push the pace more; rebound better; set more physical screens. After finishing dead-last in assists and 3-point percentage last season, they probably want to shoot and share the ball better, too.

Deni Avdija is one new addition to the roster who should help with all of those categories.
