The Portland Trail Blazers were able to force a Game Seven against the Denver Nuggets on Thursday with a 119-108 victory. According to Yahoo! Sports’ Chris Haynes, the Blazers were able to do so with a little inspiration from star point guard Damian Lillard.
Soon after the grueling 26-point loss in Game Five, Lillard sent a mass text to the team letting them know that their season isn’t over because of one bad game.
“I just wanted to remind my guys that it wasn’t over,” Lillard told Yahoo Sports.
