Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum aren’t merely one of the most prolific scoring duos in the NBA this season — they are also one of the most prolific in Trail Blazers history.
Lillard, who is averaging 25.8 points per game, and McCollum, who is averaging 20.9, are both on pace to average more than 20 points per game. They would become the first backcourt mates and ninth pair of teammates to do so in franchise history. Their 46.7 points per game scoring average is the third-highest in the NBA this season and — assuming it holds — would be the fifth-highest in Blazers history.
