Portland Trail Blazers center Donovan Clingan has been diagnosed with a grade 2 MCL sprain, according to the team:
Rookie center Donovan Clingan received additional imaging on the left knee which revealed a grade 2 MCL sprain. Clingan will be reevaluated in two weeks.
Clingan was originally diagnosed with a “left knee sprain” that occurred in the Blazers’ win Sunday against the Houston Rockets.
Clingan appeared to hurt his knee twice in the game, the second time returning to the locker room and coming back to the bench with a knee brace.
