The Portland power forward missed all of preseason and the beginning of the regular season with a nagging injury.
After missing the Portland Trail Blazers' season opener amidst reports that he may need knee surgery, Cliff Alexander has returned to individual workouts and the team will monitor the injured left knee closely.

"I can continue to play on it, but if it gets swollen again, or if it starts feeling pain again, I might need surgery,’’ Alexander said.
