Portland Trail Blazers fans might want to dust off their bicycles and get fresh batteries for their bike lights because finding car parking near the Moda Center just got harder.
On Oct. 1, the Eliot Neighborhood near Moda Center started limiting parking to two hours between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. every day from October through May, according to the City of Portland’s Bureau of Transportation (PBOT). The map below shows the impacted area, just a few blocks northeast of Moda:
The reason for the change is made clear: to “make it easier for residents and their guests to find parking on the street in the evening October through May during large events in and around the Rose Quarter.
