NBA All-Star Weekend continued Saturday with the Skills Challenge and the 3-Point Contest.
Skills Challenge
Up first was the Skills Challenge, which was an individual event from its inception in 2002 until 2022 when it became team-based. Four teams of two players faced off against each other over two rounds in a test of dribbling, passing, and shooting
- Team Spurs: Victor Wembanyama and Chris Paul
- Team Rooks: Zaccharie Risacher and Alex Sarr
- Team Cavs: Donovan Mitchell and Evan Mobley
- Team Warriors: Draymond Green and Moses Moody
Team Spurs kicked it off, and Wemby and Chris Paul broke the system by totally ignoring the shooting portion of the event, instead opting to just huck basketballs at the hoop to cut down on their time as disapproving boos rained from the arena.
